City Gives Final Approval for Development of Lyngblomsten at Lino Lakes

Lino Lakes City Council gives final approval for Lyngblomsten development

ST. PAUL, Minn. (July 29, 2021) — At its July 26, 2021, meeting, the Lino Lakes City Council unanimously approved the Final Plan/Plat and Development Agreement for the construction of a senior living campus by Lyngblomsten, a Minnesota nonprofit senior services organization serving older adults in the Saint Paul area since 1906. The new senior living campus will be at the corner of Hodgson Road and County Road J in Lino Lakes.

“We’re very excited to see that end of the city developed,” Mayor Rob Rafferty expressed during the meeting. “I’ve heard so many good things about Lyngblomsten, and we are looking forward to a very successful project.”

Lyngblomsten is working with Grand Real Estate Advisors and Wold Architects and Engineers in its development planning. Phase One of the project includes detached townhomes, independent and assisted living apartments, and memory care units, accompanied by a robust array of amenities.

“We’ve been working full steam ahead with lenders and attorneys preparing for a September closing and construction start,” said Judd Fenlon of Grand Real Estate Advisors.

“The pandemic delayed the project, and now we are beyond excited to move forward,” said Lyngblomsten President & CEO Jeff Heinecke. “We’re very grateful for the work of the Council and for the warm welcome and support from many in Lino Lakes. It’s a great city, and we look forward to being a great neighbor.”
