Lyngblomsten resident tests positive for COVID-19

On the evening of Tuesday, April 28, 2020, Lyngblomsten received results from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) that one of its residents in the Lyngblomsten Care Center had tested positive for COVID-19.  This is the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in a Lyngblomsten resident.  We have shared this information with residents, tenants, their family members, and employees per Lyngblomsten’s communications protocols.

We are working closely with MDH to ensure we are doing everything possible to provide the best care for this resident and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within our facility.

We will update this website as pertinent information becomes available.  Please note, out of respect for the sensitive nature of a COVID-19 diagnosis, it is our practice to notify staff, residents and tenants, and their designated family or other representative of the situation first before posting an update on this website.
